Mines Service Center - Poster Printing Drop-off Service

Service Description

Poster Printing can be still scheduled or requested in person during business hours but can NOW also be dropped off for printing over the weekend.

Service Levels

Service is limited by availability, which is reduced considerably during busy periods, such as finals. Please contact the Mines Service Center directly to schedule your print in advance. 

  • Hours of availability: Weekends Only - Drop off by Friday at 5pm - Posters will be ready by 8am on Monday.
  • REQUIRED: A Sample Hard Copy of the Poster (Minimum 8.5x11) must be dropped off for the file to be printed - This hard copy is for your verification that colors and layout look acceptable to you and will be used for an ITS consultant to reference over the weekend.
    • There is no charge for the hard copy since this is for ITS reference
  • Large format scanning is NOT available as part of this service.
  • Only “Satin” finish (a blending of Glossy and Matte) is available.
  • Paper is available in 42”, 36” and 24” widths.
  • Once printed, the ink requires some time to dry before the posters can be taken away.


Support for foreign-language systems is not available. Service is limited to the geographic campus and Mines Park. There is limited or no support for products and services no longer supported by the manufacturer.

Service Charges

The normal poster printing charges still apply for this service - $1/inch on the longest side of the print.

Requesting the Service

To start the drop-off process, use the "Request Poster Print" button located on this page. You may attach the file to the form or bring it with you in person. However, as noted above, a hard copy sample is required to be submitted before the weekend in order to print your poster.
